The focus is on requesting input from the team members and capturing status on tasks. When possible, pm.bot makes updates to JIRA tickets:

  • creating a task

  • adding a comment

  • updating due date

  • assign task

pm.bot does not try to replace JIRA, but focuses on advanced communication. Other operations and complex team specific workflows need to be performed in JIRA directly.

  • time off notification

    • when someone says they are not available pm.bot will understand and take into account for communication and reporting.

  • generate report for a project

    • to view current standings on demand instead of by schedule
